What another beautiful day on the water!... This morning I had Ellis and his son-in-law Joel out for a half day of fishing. We started up in the shallows and saw a few redfish waking around but couldn't get them to eat. We moved to a little deeper water spot and the bite turned on. We ended up catching a bunch of redfish on live shrimp and mud minnows. Both Ellis and Joel caught a really big upper slot redfish. Joel's fish weighted in at 8lbs!.. that's huge for a slot redfish. We moved around to a few more spots and caught some more redfish. That was a fun day fellas!-Capt. Tommy
