St. Augustine Fishing Report April 25th...

What an awesome day of fishing!!!.. This morning I had Robby and Brad out for a full day of fishing in St. Augustine. We started in the shallows tossing top-water plugs and there was redfish everywhere... only thing was they were only nudging the plug and not taking it. Robby did get one red to eat the plug at our first stop though. We moved to some deeper water where brad caught a couple of redfish with a mud minnow on a Slayer Inc. jighead. With the tide looking good we moved back to some shallow stuff and brad hooked into a nice upper slot redfish on the top-water. Robby hooked a few nice slot reds as well on a Fishbites paddle tail / Slayer Inc. jig combo. Even though the seas were a little rough we decided to go offshore and look for some cobia... and we found them. Redfish in the morning and cobia in the afternoon... Great day fellas!
