What a great day to be on the water!... the weather was great and the redfish were chewin! This morning I had Dave and his good buddy Zach out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. We started by tossing some top-water plugs for reds at first light. We saw plenty of fish waking around and had a few blowups but the bite was a little slow until Dave got a nice 6lb redfish to absolutely inhale his plug. We then moved to some deeper water where we found some more redfish willing to play using mud minnows and shrimp on Slayer Inc. jigheads. Always a great time guys!-Capt. Tommy
