Wow!!! What an awesome day of fishing! Today I had John and Paul out for a half day of fishing in St. Augustine. The plan was to get on some cobia... and we definitely did. Paul was up first hooking into a monster jack only to have pull the hook. John was up next and also hooked into a monster 30+lb jack. After about a 20min battle the fish surged and the line broke. We decided to leave the jacks alone and focus on the cobia. JOhn hooked the first fish and it was an absolute MONSTER of a cobia. I had a hard time just getting this thing in the boat. A few minutes later Paul hooked into another MONSTER cobia. His fish was not happy and Paul had his hands full with a cobia that just wouldn't quit. After all was said and done they had two 50lb cobia in the boat and we headed for the dock. What a great day fellas!-Capt. Tommy
