What an awesome day on the water!!! I had the day off today so I decided to take my good buddy Gib out for some inshore and nearshore fishing in St. Augustine. We started off by catching a few redfish on top-water plugs. We then headed off the beach to look for something a little bigger... and we found it. Gib hooked into a big tarpon and fought him like a pro (for about 30 minutes). This was Gib's first landed tarpon and he was stoked to say the least. A little while later he also hooked into and caught a nice nice jack. Great day!-Capt. Tommy
