St. Augustine / Palm Coast Fishing Report October 14th...

What an awesome day of fishing in St. Augustine!... This morning I had the opportunity to go fish with my best bud Gibby. There was a "flood" tide today which means tailing redfish in super shallow grassy areas that are flooded with water. This only happens a couple weeks out of the whole year and when the weather is good it makes for some really exciting fishing. This whole week should have some great flood tides. We did more scouting than fishing but we did catch some really nice upper slot redfish using the Slayer Inc. SST paddle tails on Slayer Inc. Penetrator weedless hooks. We also got into a nice trout bite at the end of the day. Looks like some fall weather is coming in the next couple of weeks so get out there and enjoy some great fishing!
