Another awesome day on the water!.. Today I had Matt and his son Jack on the boat. Jack wanted to catch a big redfish and a big shark and well... we accomplished that and then some. We started off tossing some top-water plugs at first light. Both Matt and Jack had some nice blow-ups but the reds just didn't seem to want to commit so we changed it up and went to some live mud minnows. We then caught a couple of really nice upper slot redfish and once the tide stopped moving we decided to head off the beach to look for something bigger. We found the bait and there was tarpon and sharks all over it. We didn't get the tarpon to play but we did have fun catching some nice spinner, lemon, and sharpnose sharks. Before we headed in we decided to try for a kingfish and after trolling for just a few minutes Jack caught his first King... and a nice one at that! Good fishing guys!-Capt. Tommy
